With the U.S. population hitting 300 million sometime in October, Grace thought it would be good to establish her “brand identity” early — beat the rush, so to speak. In the true spirit of American capitalism, she decided to trademark two distinguishing features that are admittedly quite common in babies across the globe: big blue eyes, and an unstoppable cowlick. (those who were at the Baptism can attest to the fact that the cowlick is both gravity- and holy water-defying). To make sure there is no confusion as to when royalties are owed, Grace is providing a pictorial below (on the cowlick front, it appears Grace’s poor Dad will be in constant violation of the trademark agreement).

Because of the extended family relationships on both her mom and dad’s side of the family, Grace will have to, at a very young age, immerse herself in the finer points of genealogy. In this case, we see her posing with her mother’s first cousin Stacey and her father’s first cousin Mickey — who are to Grace, her first cousins once removed.
In order to highlight the variety of family members Grace met during the month of September, we thought we’d post according to themes. So for this post, the title says it all, but please be prepared for more creative superlative-type associations like “most likely to get their bags searched at an airport” or “most likely to close their eyes when they smile”
Here we see Grace with her GREAT Aunt Pam on the left and her GREAT Aunt Lu on the right.
There has been much debate regarding where Grace has inherited her looks. Collective wisdom, to date, says she looks like her Grandpa Rymarquis. Fact or Fiction? You decide!
Grace’s parents are way behind in posting photos - but the last few weekends have been filled with endless excitement. Last weekend, Grace met, for the first time, her Great Grandma and Grandpa Wolsing who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Here she is meeting them for the very first time:
With everything that took place during this fast-paced weekend, we thought we’d slow it down to its bare essentials for our intial “Baptism” posting.
To start, Grace, in a 100+ year old Christening Gown (from her mother’s side of the family), makes sure Brother Sal grabbed the correct book and isn’t accidentally reading from the Manual For a Jewish Briss.
Next, we see a series of photos that show the essence of the day’s event from Grace’s initial descent into the font to the completion of the annointing of the head.

Grace would like to thank Cathy & Dave for the last two photos in this posting - allowing her to show everyone the Baptism from start to finish - a process Grace clearly enjoyed as evidenced by that final photo.
