December: A retrospective
Somehow the month of December seemed to arrive and disappear in what seemed like one day. Some Grace highlights:
- Turned 7 months
- Had her first tooth cut through in Kentucky
- Learned how to pull herself across the floor at lightning speed
- Celebrated her first Kwanzaa
- Can push herself up into a sitting position when she’s on her stomach
- Has given her dad several new facial scars thanks to Wolverine-like claws that seem to regenerate 1 hour after cutting her nails
- Celebrated her first Christmas (in Kentucky, Pittsburgh & New York)
- Exponentially increased the amount and variety of “real” food she eats
- Can pull herself up into a standing position (by far the scariest for her parents)
- Started Waving
And in typical Jim & Lara fashion, we took hardly any pictures to capture these moments, but of the few hundred photos we did take (of walls, ceiling fans etc…) we have a few good ones that we’re going to start posting now that the holidays are almost over.
