Finding her calling
What does a packed Yankee stadium, sales of mass quantities of t-shirts and pennants, endless hot dog/popcorn/peanut sales and multiple musical performances from pop, jazz and classical musicians mean? A visit from the Pope of course!
Setting aside the free “dual headshot” of the Pope complete with New York Yankees logo in the corner and the performance of the song “Never knew love like this before” by Stephanie Mills (as the pre-Mass warm-up, I guess), it’s hard to deny that the Pope had a big impact on NYC the few days he was here.
For Lucy, it seemed to effect her future career path, which she subtly shares with you here:

Grace is obviously proud of her sister making such a big decision at such a young age (and it looks like Aunt Anne is proud of her niece for, I guess in this case, being so sweaty):

Grace and Lucy’s Dad (and their Aunt Anne) did actually get to go to the Mass at Yankee Stadium. Not only did they get lucky and get great seats, the area directly in front of them seemed to be a major passageway for getting the Pope in and out of the stadium:

Just in case anyone’s curious, the “Pope Mobile” is a Mercedes-Benz.
