Lucy turns 1; Elvis would’ve turned 74
Judging by her dance moves, it seems as though despite a 73-year age difference, she’s already mimicking her birthday co-celebrant Elvis Presley. Maybe there’s something to that astrology thing.
Keeping up the Fuchster tradition of letting the new one year old dive headlong into the birthday cake, without any parental interference, we thought the ice cream cake would provide us with lots of entertainment (and hours of cleaning). Instead…Lucy just wanted the decorations on top. Or as she indicates here - just one of the decorations on top:
At 2 1/2 Grace has gotten a little better about sharing with her younger sister - and somehow resisted pulling everything off the cake before Lucy had a chance to enjoy it:
And so much for the tradition. Once Minnie was off the cake and in Lucy’s hands, layers of ice cream just didn’t seem to matter anymore:
